Day 1: Dushanbe Airport – Dushanbe (Tajikistan)
Meeting you at Dushanbe airport. Transfer to the accommodation, installation. Briefing. Lunch, start city tour. Visit Tajikistan National Museum of Antiquities, where the famous statue of Buddha in Nirvana is preserved. Overnight at the guesthouse. (Dinner)

Day 2: Dushanbe – Kalai Khumb
Breakfast in the guesthouse. Drive towards the Pamirs and make our way to Kalai Khumb through beautiful scenery and interesting villages on route. As we start to follow the Afghan border with its dramatic cliffs and flowing river, we arrive in Kalai Khumb a small town on the river with some real character. An overnight stay here, ready for the next drive day. Overnight at guesthouse. (Breakfast and dinner)

Day 3: Kalai Khumb – Khorog
After breakfast we drive along the Panj River, a tributary of the mighty Amu Darya River. You will have a chance to see Afghanistan from the right side across the river. Continue driving to Khorog, a small mountain valley town, the capital of the autonomous Gorno-Badakhshan region. The city lies 2000 m above the sea level, strung out irregularly along the slopes of both sides of the dashing Gunt River. A few kilometers downstream, the Gunt merges with the Panj, the river that marks the border with Afghanistan. Overnight at pamir house or similar guesthouse. (Breakfast and dinner)

Day 4. Khorog – Ishkashim – Langar (Wakhan Corridor)
In the morning visit the famous mineral hot spring Garm Chashma. Later depart to Ishkashim, a small town at the mouth of the Wakhan corridor, where the 19th century Great Game ended. Continue up the north side of the river with amazing views of the Pamirs to the left and the Hindu Kush to the right; a number of peaks in view are above 6000 m. We will visit Afghan market if it’s open on that day. On the way, visit one of the old fortresses on the Silk Road Kah-Kaha in Namadgut. We will also visit Buddhist Stupa in Vrang, sacred hot springs of Bibi Fatima Zahra, and ruins of Yamchun Fortress (IV-III B.C.) that guarded once Pamir branch of the Great Silk Road. Overnight at homestay in Langar. (Breakfast and dinner)

Day 5: Langar – Khargush – Murghab
Start the day with a trip to petroglyphs. There are more than 600 rock carvings made by prehistoric people lying under the open sky in that area. Continue to Khargush, source of Amu Darya River. Cross the road via pass Khargush (4344 m) and Pass Nayza-Tash (4137 m). Arrive in Murghab. Overnight at Gulnara Homestay. (Breakfast and dinner)

Day 6: Murghab – Cheshtebe
Early in the morning drive to Cheshtebe for swimming. Overnight in the camp. (Breakfast and dinner)

Day 7: Cheshtebe – Rang Kul lake – Karakul Lake
In the morning drive to Karakul village. On the way stop for short break at the lake Rang Kul. You have possibility to see yaks in this valleys. Continue the trip with the amazing and breathtaking views of mountains and glaciers along the way as the road takes us to the Ak-Baital Pass (White Horse Pass 4655 m). This is the highest pass in the former USSR, real “The Roof of the World” and the hidden site in this expanse of landscape is the stunning Karakul Lake created millions of years ago. Karakul is a beautiful alpine lake in the Pamir mountains, located at an altitude of 3914 m. The lake itself is impressive due to its shear size and it’s fringed by snowcapped peaks, including the more than 7000 m Peak Lenin. It is part of the Silk Road and has a long history with merchants who passed this way. Overnight at Sadat Homestay. (Breakfast and dinner)

Day 8: Karakul lake – Tulpar Kul lake, Lenin Peak (Border Crossing Day)
Breakfast. Drive to check point. Cross the borders and head up to the Tulpar Kul lake close to the Lenin Peak. Arrival and have a lunch at the base camp in a yurt. Explore the snowcapped Lenin Peak in Pamir mountain range by taking a day hike from your yurt camp to the Traveler’s pass at 4130 m. Enjoy the beauty of glaciers while walking up to the pass. Rest at the top of the Traveler’s pass to gaze at glaciers tumbling off the massive peak. Back to your yurts. For those who want to ride horses will have a chance for it (payable). Overnight in yurts. (Breakfast and dinner)

Day 9. Tulpar Kul lake – Osh 
In the morning we drive to Osh, on arrival, we will have the opportunity to explore some of its sights, including Sulaiman Mountain – a rock formation that looms over the city and is an important Muslim pilgrimage site. This Silk Road Town is so old it celebrated its 3000th birthday a number of years ago. It is a place steeped in history and claims to have the best bazaar in all Central Asia – something we will check out. Farewell dinner at one of the best Kyrgyz restaurant. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast and dinner)

Day 10: Osh – Osh Airport (Kyrgyzstan)
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (Breakfast)
